Michelle Millard
I am inspired by nature, kind souls, movement and play.
Creating, making magic, playing with color, sharing a piece of you through the tradition of art is intoxicating. It’s both a necessity and a passion. For anyone that creates, you know what I’m talking about. Maybe you build out of wood, or you color your yard with flowers and architecture, or you design a living space that could make the most tense relax. Whatever it is that you choose to do to make/create/share with the world- that creativity is proof You are magic. I’m so glad you are here.
If you are still here cruising around and a little curious about who I am, here is a little more……
Ever since I remember, I wanted to be an artist. I graduated CSU- Chico with a BA in Studio Art with a split emphasis in Figure Drawing and Glass Blowing. Go Wildcats! …. and then did absolutely nothing with it. But the itch to create was always there. Eventually I resurrected my passion and am currently thriving. I love the human form and am playful in my translation to the canvas. Currently playing in watercolors, acrylics, inks, pastels, and (new to me oil stix). I hope you enjoy my art. If you feel so inspired I would love the support and shares. More about me on my Instagram (link below).
Thank you for visiting my page and my art. I paint and create from my studio near Sacramento, CA and am releasing my latest series of cool soft palette online to you. I hope you enjoy them.
